Tap into the latest trends with Dulux Blues for 2026

Calming, fluid and creative, blue is the perfect antidote to today’s frenetic world. We’ve chosen a collection of soulful indigo blues as Dulux’s colour family for 2026 – Free Groove™, Mellow Flow™ and Slow Swing™ form a colour range that lets you change the rhythm of your home in countless ways. It’s all about creating a space that flows at your pace.

Transforming Your Home with a Rhythm of Soulful Indigo Blues

We believe in blue for 2026! Whether uplifting, airy or meditative, blue is a calming and cooling colour – just what we need in our homes at a time when life can feel chaotic, demanding and overheated.

This was the sentiment that came out of our annual trend forecast, where international design experts share their thoughts on how the world is changing and what we’ll need in our homes in the years ahead.

This time, we spoke about the importance of slowing down and creating space to reflect and recharge. We saw the value of being in sync with our surroundings, which helps us feel supported and connected. We also talked about the momentum that can come with boundary breaking – how embracing a Free approach can help us feel carefree and open up space for blue-sky thinking. What tied all these ideas together was rhythm.

Our theme for 2026, 'Your space, your pace', is all about creating a home that flows at the right tempo for you, using fluid colour schemes and balancing blues. We've selected the vibrant Free Groove™; the airy light blue – Mellow Flow™; and the meditative dark blue – Slow Swing™ and built three new colour stories around them: the Free colour story, the Flow colour story, and the Slow colour story.

Our soulful collection of blues features in all three stories, with each story highlighting one hero colour. Using these indigo tones and complementary colours, you can set the pace of each room in your home to perfectly match your mood.
