Our colour trends team
__Heleen van Gent__ Head of the Global Aesthetics Centre I love cool neutrals, particularly tender grey with just a hint of silver. It’s subtle but creates a striking effect. Perfect for bringing a classic, timeless feel to a room.
Heleen uses her passion for colour to help people make colour choices in their homes, designing colour tools to help make those decisions easier. She also takes great pleasure each year in overseeing the creation of the AkzoNobel annual colour trend forecasts, Colour Futures.
Before joining the Global Aesthetics Center, Heleen was educated at the Royal Academy of Art, The Hague, Netherlands and worked in the world of magazines for 20 years, as an interior stylist and design editor.
